Jailbreak

I have not jailbroken, and will not jailbreak my iPhone. Why not?

• • no clear official place for instructions. Every site is an attempt to out-SEO the other.

  • ads all over the sites with instructions, esp. those awful double-lined "links" with hovers

  • instructions ask you to download this, replace that file with this file, update to this firmware, etc.

  • leetspeek in the various names for things

  • I have to edit my hosts file to use make my computer think that apple.com is pointed to some random ass server in Russia? No thanks.

  • I have to edit my hosts file at all? Red flag right there
