When connected to an AirPlay speaker, it still plays the first second on the laptop’s speakers when pressing Play
No real sense of continuation, even when inside one app
If I stop playing an album, close the Mac App, it doesn’t know what I was just playing and where to continue from
No Handoff between Mac and iPhone, which is a thing I often want. Like when getting up from my laptop to go out, I'd like Apple Music to continue where I left off in a playlist.
Creating a new playlist is very weird. If you create a new playlist with a song, it titles the playlist after the song, then you have to find it and rename the playlist
The "Flipped" playlists, which have songs and the songs they sampled, are really good (like, really, really good, see the one for The Notorious B.I.G. for example), but they have the sampling song first, and the sampled songs after. They would make more sense to me having the sampled songs first, then the sampling song afterwards, that is, in chronological order. Maybe I can see the case for the way it is now, but you can't reverse the order of those playlists for some reason. I have to copy the playlist to my own playlist and reverse it myself.
In Apple Music: The Service, you can't press play on an artist's Top Songs.
It's not clear how to use it with Shortcuts. I'd like to have a "Search for this in Apple Music" shortcut of selected text, so that I don't have to copy in one app, go to another app, find the right search function (that is, search the Apple Music streaming service, not my library).
iOS
The Remote app, which let you control Apple Music playing on your computer, but from an iPhone, hasn't been updated in years.
